The is no sustainable and biological agriculture without animals. It's time we all realize that the real problem is the intensive and chemical based production of anything, fish, meat vegetables, fruit, grains, whatever. It's not eating meat that is bad. Eat what you want but, like religion, practice it and shut up about it, nobody is innocent when us comes to foid, something has to die to feed you, plants or animals.

One of the paradoxes of modernity, to me, is that people self medicate the loneliness epidemic by getting pets. So compassion for pets is widespread. And yet people continue to eat meat. If that compassion turns to the animals eaten, people become vegans. Unfortunately though, by having carnivores as pets, cruelty to animals does get perpetuated.

My question about the vegan diet is : can you just eat a plant based diet without any supplements or fortified foods or does your diet rely on these things?

First off I’m not a fan of killing animals but my dilemma is this. My bloodwork doesn’t lie. All meat for me. Fat. Water. I cured insulin resistance. Inflammation. Arthritis. Neuropathy. Blood pressure issues. Stopped statins (which are the worst). BP meds (diuretics). My health has been a disaster and eating vegetables did nothing to help me. Carbs. Low fat. Sugars. All gave me terrible leaky gut and diabetes. Even eating vegetarian and with exercise. You will never get me to go back with my results. I guess I should just have a terrible suffering life so you can be so proud of saving animals. What species is the one we should keep alive first here? I guess it isn’t me. You really put your ethics above suffering people victim to terrible dietary BS from the government to make money for doctors and the pharmaceutical industry. Go ahead and flame me and call me a monster. I’d be dead otherwise.

It's so fucking hard to be gentle with meat eaters after seeing this things, I force myself to see every second of horrifying holocaust like footage and then I have to shut down all the emotions that come from that when a fucking hypocrite ignorant or moraly dead person says the stupidest shit I have ever heard while eats some nasty dead body parts. Someone has advice to deal with that?

Now I have to watch what cereal I eat besides just checking to see if there is dairy or eggs! Being vegan is hard! It is worth it though!

It's wrong to thing all animals are suffering. Buy your meat from local, ethic farms. Animals have great lives there. Vegans shut up. Meat eaters shut up. Nobody tells nobody else what to eat. This must stop.

He wasn't actually a vegetarian for most of his life, he was using the stupidly inaccurate colloquial term "vegetarian" where he still ate fish sometimes, and now he thinks mock meats are unhealthy so instead he eats processed meats which there are myriads of studies showing how unhealthy processed meat is.
